Benchpoint started in 2002, following a 2-year project to develop one of the world’s first integrated, real time, on line questionnaire building, emailing and results analysis engines. At the time, the USA’s “Measurement Standard” described it as ‘Survey Monkey on steroids’.
Founded by Richard Gaunt, a long time career professional in communications, public relations and change management, Benchpoint was successful in developing a niche market in corporate, NGO and professional association opinion surveying.
In 2012 the business decided to simplify its operations and concentrate on its 3 core specialities. It honourably retired its wonderful, but now outdated software, and switched to third party providers. The business is now simpler, leaner, and, as always, cost effective.
